The Ryukyu Kingdom sat at the crossroads of Asian trade, and its court physicians drew on the deepest medicinal traditions of the region. Turmeric - prescribed as a daily restorative, a digestive aid, and a protective remedy - found its permanent home in Okinawa's volcanic soil. Five centuries later, the same Yanbaru-grown root fills our softgels, teabags, and bars of soap.
